ne rebellious teen finds out if she can make it on her own when she gets emancipated. Lorin, a privileged 16-year-old from the New Orleans area, believes she does not need the help and guidance from her parents and elects for a trial emancipation. With only the bare necessities and guidance from therapist Stacy Kaiser, Lorin is given three weeks of freedom and goes on an emotional journey of self-discovery.
