David Tutera’s always gets to know his brides when trying to give them the wedding day of their dreams. When he meets bride Kimberly Read, a breast cancer survivor, David is touched by her story, and dedicates himself to making sure Kimberly’s inspirational story comes through in her wedding. Kimberly’s theme, 1950’s Havana, present David with plenty of challenges on its own, but Kimberly’s hope to include breast cancer awareness into the theme gives David an even bigger set of hurdles. David replaces Kimberly’s standard dress with an incredible and fantastic gown that has the Cuban flair she’s looking for, and takes her bridesmaids out of their plan dresses and puts them into sultry, sexy, and classy gowns straight out of Havana. David’s not done with the surprises, though. He enlists a little bit of help from the people who know and love Kimberly the most for an unforgettable and emotional wedding day surprise.
